While CWO use to be buggy, the newest version is incredibly stable, has self implimented fixes so that it can self correct bugs without your input including a MCM menu where you can track various process to make sure bugs arent happening, processes to completely bypass quests that may end up bugged, and fixes many vanilla bugs in the civil war questline which is the buggiest quest line in the skyrim game. Not a clean game, not a game after character creation, a brand new, clean game, hitting new right off the menu with the mod installed, and it must never be uninstalledĪs far as the bugs, this bug is actually a flat vanilla bug, and the author of CWO has actually tried to impliment a fix for this bug in CWO. The mod itself MUST be installed on a new game.

I looked these up on The Elder Scrolls Wiki and, in case you need to do more research.įor everyone talking about the mod Civil War Overhaul please note :

If that doesn't work try 9000 at the end of the line instead. Open your console and type in SetStage CWFortSiegeFort 200. The quest ID for this section of the Quest is CWFortSiegeFort. Usually it means speaking to the Leader-in this case, General Tullius, then meeting the commander in the field and getting your orders-Legate Rikka. Since you joined the Imperials I am not familiar with the specific events-I've always played as a Stormcloak. Regaining the Pale is a general title for the things you must do to win the Pale back. The holds you traded would affect the outcome of the war. Since you did the Main Questline before finishing the War, you would have had to do the Peace Treaty to get Balgruuf to help you. Events in the Dark Brotherhood questline can prevent you from finishing the Thieves Guild Questline-so always do the TG first. Events in the Main Questline can affect the War and vice versa. Many quests get screwed up that way-Missing in Action comes to mind. It's never a good idea to start the Civil War and then go do the Main Quest and come back.
